Attendance and Absentee Notification
The School Education Act requires parents to provide satisfactory reasons for non-attendance of their child. Please send a note to the school, or phone the office to explain any absences. This includes half day absences.
The Department recommends that all students attend school for at least 90% of the time to prevent putting their rate of learning at significant risk. Remember, every day, every minute, of school time counts, particularly in the early years (K-2) when fundamental skills are being learned.
An automated message will be sent to you if your child is absent from school and you have not let the office know.
